Marquis Marble Inc. has provided quality cultured marble/granite products and services to homeowners, businesses, and building contractors since 1978. At that time, owners John R. Molzer and Reinholt “Riney” Schneider had accumulated over 25 years of experience in the cultured marble industry.

Our History

Although incorporated in 1978, Marquis Marble’s legacy began in 1963 when David and Riney Schneider were hired to build a cultured marble plant in Fort Collins, Colorado. By early 1967, David had gone on to help build up Construction Specialties Company (ConSpeCo), a Denver-based cultured marble company. Riney soon followed and John Molzer (David and Riney’s young nephew) joined them. As time progressed, several other marble companies hired Riney and David to bring their expertise to help build up this growing industry.

Still in college, John Molzer also worked part-time at these locations. In June of 1978, John and Riney had started building equipment for a business of their own. By early 1979, Marquis Marble Inc. was manufacturing cultured marble in Aurora, Colorado.

New location, same great quality!

Moving to 15575 E. 17th Avenue in 1991, Marquis Marble Inc. is considered to be a leader in the custom cultured marble/granite products industry. Marquis Marble has always taken pride in using only the finest raw materials and production methods in the manufacturing of its cultured products. John R. Molzer continues as sole owner/operator since Riney’s 1992 retirement.
